Tucker Pierce (left), our artistic director, is an artist, printmaker, and designer living and working in St. Louis, and a recent graduate of the Printmaking program at Washington University in St. Louis. His personal practice investigates the performative nature of gender through the use of drag and the artist's body as an armature for identity and identification. His work serves as an entrance into the conversation of what identity is and how it comes to be as well as exposing the synthetic fibers that bind it all together.
